For this project I received a script and then designed storyboards using Adobe Illustrator. Once the storyboards were approved, I used Adobe After Effects to animate it. I researched some new techniques for the animations, like adding an animated gradient stroke to letters, and morphing a word into another word. Because of where this was being displayed, we couldn't add any music to it, but I really think that some background music would've helped make it even better.
While waiting for the script for this explainer animation, I brainstormed different ideas for the graphic elements required for it. Once I had the script, I created storyboards using Adobe Illustrator. After the storyboards were approved, and I received the narration file, I began animating the explainer using Adobe After Effects. This project let me research some new techniques for After Effects so I could achieve all of the animations I envisioned.
This animated video created for the Sales Kick Off opening presentation was one of the first big projects I got to help out with at eSentire. Since it was an Internal video we got to have a bit of fun with using the Mission Impossible theme song and font. I worked closely with the Senior Graphic Designer on this project, he created the storyboards and I brought them to life using After Effects. We wanted to give a nod to the original 1969 intro, so we included the lighting of the fuse, and the lit fuse going across the first couple of screens. I learned a lot of new techniques while animating this video, and had to get the timing of the animations to line up with different parts of the audio that our Creative Director put together. The video received a standing ovation at the Sales Kick Off, and we ended up getting awarded with a Bravo Zulu award at the following all-hands meeting because of the work we did on this video.
This Sales Kick Off video was Top Gun themed, and although we had less time to plan for this video, we still wanted it to have as big of an impact as the 2022 version. I created the storyboards for this video, and brought in elements like the fighter pilot illustration another designer created, and the end LFG animation our videographer created for another video. I animated this video using After Effects, and the Creative Director mixed the audio. The animation also received a standing ovation when presented.
This video was created to help explain eSentire's MDR service. The Creative Director created the storyboards for this video, and then I brought them to life using After Effects. We wanted to make sure it all looked cohesive, but that we could easily separate the video into separate parts so we could add smaller chunks of it to different pages of the website. I had to time the animations to the narration so that text showed up on the screen at the right times. We had a few audio changes once the initial draft was made, so I had to go back in and retime sections while not messing up the timing of the rest of the video. There were a couple scenes where we had to add text after all the animations had been done already, so I had to make sure the fluid transitions still looked good after elements on the screen shifted positions. There were a lot of complicated animations required for this video, which was a fun challenge.
This video was created in a series of videos for a company that contracted eSentire to make some cybersecurity training videos for their employees. Our videographer designed and created the first episodes, but I had to step in and help finish them off while he was away for a few weeks. I had to match his animation style and the graphic style he created for these videos, so all of the videos looked consistent. I learned a lot from doing these just from looking at his project files, and seeing the techniques he used.
This video was created to lead into a group activity during a workshop. It was embedded into a Powerpoint presentation, and the phone ringing at the end was the start of a group activity where they learned that a security incident was happening and they needed to work through the steps to help mitigate it. The beginning of the video I used a portion of eSentire's brand video they wanted to include. I timed the animations to the audio I was given to work with. I also created storyboards for this project.
A few various t-shirts I designed for different events while at eSentire. I had fun with these ones, and created a few options for each one, and then the CMO and VP of Digital narrowed it down to their favorites. It was a fun challenge making something fun that people would want to wear, while also making sure it fit the brand.
I was given some copy and asked to make this gif for social media. I had the challenge of keeping it simple enough so that the file size wasn't huge, while still making sure it was eye catching enough to get someone to stop scrolling. I made a few different options, and this was the final version we decided to use. I used Illustrator to storyboard my frames, and After Effects to create the gif.
Our CMO wanted some stickers made up with a tagline we were using at events to hand out at tradeshows and for employees to have. I created two different sizes and did some variations with different backgrounds.
IT requested a branded logo to put on the company portal for SSO to our Swag Store. I wanted to make it fit in with the other icons on the page, while still being eSentire branded.
HR created new values for team eSentire, and needed some custom icons created, a slide for Powerpoint decks and artwork for a popup banner for the office. I also created a looping slide deck with the values for them to display on the TV in the office kitchen. I played around with two-toned icons, and that was the style we decided on.
