Different Brands, Same Toolbox
I worked as a freelance contractor with Brown Communications for about six months, helping their team with design, animation, and video across a range of client projects.
I had the opportunity to work on projects for clients including SaskPower, SaskEnergy, the Saskatchewan Health Authority, the City of Regina, and more. Each client had their own brand, audience, and goals, which meant getting comfortable jumping between different visual styles and finding the right approach for each project.
My work included everything from animation and video editing to print and digital design. I also created social media content for Brown Communications itself, helping bring some of the agency’s own work and personality to their social channels.
Working with Brown was a great opportunity to experience agency life from the other side of the table. I got to work across a variety of projects, adapt quickly to different brands, and collaborate with a team while bringing my own design and motion skills to the mix.
